No birds

Landscape in Cusco is beautiful, and even nicer around this time of the year, the rainy season.

Year started with new job and new chances to start all over. Downside is that it's been extremely busy and haven't gotten time for anything besides work and home. A girl from work got really ill and hasn't been there for a week now, and that means double work for me. But hey, at least it helped me learn a bit more about some stuff faster than I would have if she had been at the office.

Tomorrow will be a day for relax and hopefully a short trip to the mountains. Can't wait to see that Giant Hummingbird again!

Mel...Cusco is great, but another awesome location for checking out tropical birds is Costa Rica. I just got back from an incredible trip where I stayed at this perfect house that's right in the middle of the rainforest and I wanted to tell other birders about it. You don't even have to leave the house to see a ton of interesting varieties of tropical birds...here's the link to the house I stayed at:

Definitely go if you can! Pura Vida!
